Beginner Class

Our U11 Beginners program is a comprehensive introduction to fencing for kids. Here, students learn the fundamental skills and rules of fencing. Moreover, classes are designed to teach fencing technique and tactics. In addition, we focus on activities, games and exercises that develop coordination, flexibility, balance, strength, endurance and focus.

Eligibility:

This program is for kids ages 11 and under who are new to fencing or have not yet been approved for the U11 Competitive class.

Youth Competitive Class

Our Youth Competitive program prepares students for local or national competitions. Here, we practice fencing mastery in greater depth. In addition, students continue to develop their athletic ability through speed, strength and endurance exercises.

Eligibility:

This program is for kids ages 11 and under who are ready for competition training and have been approved by an instructor. Importantly, we require regular attendance and a consistent training schedule for this class.

Teen Competitive

Our U17 Competitive program is for fencers who want to compete at the local, national, or international levels. However, fencers must be at least 12 years of age. In addition, the program helps student athletes prepare for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) level.

*Note, all competitive classes are Sabre.

Eligibility:

This program is for kids ages 17 and under who can train at a competition level.

Note: Beginning fencers who fall under the U17 age category are automatically eligible for this class.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are offered to fencers of all ages and skill levels. Moreover, these are one-on-one, fencing lessons taught by one of our premier coaches.
